Maine Striped Bass Fishing Charters

Make the most of a beautiful summer day with fun and exciting Striped Bass Fishing Charter. Striped bass fishing is one of the easiest, most fun fishing trips you can go on. The fishing is fast-paced and exciting, perfect for those new to fishing and enthusiasts alike! This is one of the best trips to book for your first time out with Whiptail Adventures, because the quick pacing makes the trip a non-stop thrill.

If you're interested in fly fishing, the captain will prepare your equipment for you. Of course, you can always bring your own if you prefer. Note that only 2 guests can fly cast at the same time. Live bait will be caught during the trip. A catch cleaning and filleting service is available free of charge.

Join us on our fully equipped Parker center console for a 5 hour striper trip total of 4 guests this trip will be in our center console.

Head out in Casco Bay Portland on an epic fishing adventure with professional fishing guide, Captain Bryan Rosa. Spend the day exploring the beautiful waters of Casco Bay and its many Islands in search of feeding stripers in the river mouths, rocky ledges, and many coves! All necessary gear is provided!

An all-encompassing aquatic adventure designed for a delightful day on the water. Underway in the morning for a relaxing day of catching bait, checking lobster traps, visiting lighthouses, spotting whales, catching ground fish and stripers. Back to the dock before supper.

Striped Bass are one of the primary gamefish on the coast of Maine. They are a migratory species that travel north along the coast in the Spring and arrive in Maine around May and remain in the area until early Fall. They range in size from 12” to over 50”. Very large Striped Bass are nicknamed Cows because of their size. They are a great fighting fish and a lot of fun to catch. This trip focuses on the fish that arrive early in the season and are not as numerous.

Fish for New England's premier sport fish, the Striped Bass, inside scenic Casco Bay. We will use live bait when possible, frozen bait and lures when necessary. Come catch the excitement!

Our 3/4 day trip is the same great trip as our 4 hour charter but gives us a full tide for people looking to fish a little longer!
