Prime time fishing has come and gone. If you expect buckets of fish, this is not the trip for you. Rain drives everything in the PNW and during these times of year, fishing is very weather dependent and there aren't a lot of fish around to be caught, to do their annual migration. This is a great way to experience the Barkley sound and surrounding areas, get out on the water and get your line wet to see what's biting. Anything and everything can be caught but weather and regulations dictate everything

Salmon , Halibut lingcod prawns, it's all good. weather depending. we will catch some fish and have some fun !

Leaving the boat ramp we will have a 15 minute boat ride to where we will set crab traps. After this we will have a 5 minute boat ride to the area where we will set prawn traps. After this we will go to the fishing grouds either targeting salmon or lingcod and rock cod. We will most likey have 3 hours of fishing then we will return to pick up traps full of crab and prawn.

Start your trip off by setting up a Crab trap or a few Shrimp pots, then head off for some Salmon. Salmon don't wanna bite today? Let's go catch some Rockfish! Lingcod and Snapper are always tasty! Returning to the harbor we can pick up the Shrimp and/or Crab pots we dropped earlier in the day. The adventure is yours, let me be your guide!
