The 8 charters are the most popular amongst the captain's guests. The extra time is used to go further around, which at times is required to go to the “hot spots.” Salmon moves and so do we! For example, during May, June, and early July you can run across the Georgia Strait to the Gulf Islands to target the Salmon. The crab and prawn traps are usually set out on these longer charters.

The half-day trip will be 4 to 5 hours. In the time that we have on the water, we will drop some Crab traps close to the fishing grounds. Then we will go do some trolling for Salmon. If time allows it we also might try and target some Lingcod and Rock Cod. Fishing off the bottom jigging for those species is the most productive way to catch them. Very short boat rides to fishing grounds to maximize fishing time.

Returning to the harbor we can pick up the Shrimp and/or Crab pots we dropped earlier in the day. The adventure is yours, let me be your guide!
