Pelican Island Dolphin (Mahi Mahi) Fishing Charters

On this six hour private trip, you will be go out to the platforms and up and down the beachfront of Galveston. Targeted fish are Tarpon, Kingfish, Sharks, Spanish Mackerel, sharks and Tripletail. You will need to bring a valid Texas fishing license, food and beverages, sunglasses, a hat, sunblock but not in spray, comfortable light colored soled shoes and seasickness medications if needed. Best time to go on this trip: July, August & September

Spend the whole day in the shallows, fishing around the local jetties for a real encyclopedia of inshore species. Huge Flounder, Redfish, Ling, Trout, Spanish Mackeral, and Black Drum swarm these waters, as do Sharks, Jacks, Stingrays and more! All your bait, tackle, and fuel is included in the price, and the crew will even clean and package all your fish at the end of the trip.

You will fish federal waters 30-40 miles offshore and target Mangrove Snapper, Ling, and Lane Snapper. There may be some Red Snapper for catch and release while fishing for the previous mentioned fish.

This trip is for all anglers. Bluewater fishing at its best. You can expect all types of pelagic fish, large Red Snapper, Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Kingfish, and Sailfish, Groupers. This type of fishing is very rewarding thanks to the multiple species available. You would be very comfortable in the air-conditioned salon and use our clean restrooms. We target red snapper, king mackerel, cobia, mahi, and sharks. We fish around 50 miles offshore on this excursion.

Texas Fishing Charters offers this 7 hour trip to the offshore state waters, up to 9 nautical miles off the Texas Coast leaving out of Galveston Texas. Again depending on the time of year you can catch different species. Captain Zach is very knowledgeable in catching Kingfish, Spanish Mackeral, Cobia, Tripple Tail, Sharks, Dorado, and various species of Snapper.

This longer sea journey will have you deep sea fish for sharks, Kingfish, Snapper, Amberjack, Tuna, Mahi Mahi, and Wahoo. Included in the price are all the bait, tackle, fuel, and fish cleaning.

This 12-hour Blue Water fishing trip is our most popular trip. Price is for up to 6 people. We fish 80-100 miles offshore. We target Red, Lane and Vermillion Snapper, and a chance for Kingfish, Mahi-Mahi and Grouper etc. We fish deep water around wrecks and reefs. We will fillet and bag your catch at the end of the trip. WE TAKE YOU OUT WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE!

Ride out up to 10 miles into State Waters. Experience the excitement of catching a Jack Crevalle, Cobia, King, and other species found farther out. Enjoy the thrill of fighting a larger shark to share the boat with on your ride back into shore.

You will be going up to 45 miles offshore. You'll target Kingfish, Snapper, Mahi, Ling, sharks, and other snapper species. Remember to bring a valid Texas fishing license, some food and drinks, a hat, sunglasses, non-spray sunblock, comfortable non-marking shoes, and comfortable clothing. Also, pack your seasickness medication if needed. No fuel surcharges on any of our trips.
