Poquoson Flounder Fishing Charters

This personalized trip will see you spend the whole working day going after whatever fish you want. The captain recommends mixing it up a bit and targeting a range of species, but Cobia and Flounder remain the most popular targets in these rich waters. Get ready to sight fish for Cobia and bottom fish for Flounder as you look to fill the boat with these delicious creatures and head home with a worthy reward after a long day at sea.

This is a full-day trip for up to 19 people! After six people there is an additional per person charge. The trip will see you fishing the very productive fishing grounds of the Chesapeake Bay for Fall Stripers, Croaker, Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, Spotted Seatrout, Flounder, Bluefish, Sea Mullet, Sand Shark, Blackfin Shark, Oyster Toad, and other species.

This is our most popular charter and will allow you to target multiple species in the Chesapeake Bay. How you spend your day is up to you. For example, start off with light tackle fishing for Spadefish, Tautog sheepshead, flounder, Spanish mackerel. Then move on to sight-fishing or chumming for larger species such as Cobia (June-September), Red Drum. Departure time depends on season and targeted species First mate works for tips, 20% is customary. We prefer Cash, but will accept Venmo or Zelle, Cash APP.

Enjoy the beautiful views of back river and plum tree national wildlife refuge and also enjoy fishing for Spot, Croaker, Speckled Trout, Red Drum, and Spanish Mackerel. Great for kids and the whole family. Be sure to bring the 20% tip for the mate in cash. Depending on the time of sunset and tide cycle if the customer is available we may leave a little later or earlier.

Full day (8+ hours) on the Chesapeake Bay targeting a variety of Cobia, Drum, Flounder, Spadefish, Sheepshead, Tautog, Spanish Mackerel, Speckled Trout, and bottom fishing (Croaker, Spot, Mullet, Bluefish). Most of these trips will involve a variety of Chumming, Sight fishing, and Structure fishing, unless one method is preferred over another. I am there to guide you on what I feel is most productive, however, you book the boat and have control over how you fish!

Fishing inside the Chesapeake Bay within 15 miles of the marina using a variety of techniques to target requested species or whatever species has the hot bite. 20% tip for a mate is customary.

Bottom fishing artificial reefs for sheepshead, tautog, red drum, black drum and many other tasty bottom fish!! Site fishing for Cobia 6 -15 to 9-20 ) ( 4 person max )

Catered to begginer/intermediate fisherman and families. This trip targets easier to catch species and focuses on simple fishing techniques as well as hands on guidance from the captain and crew. Please note mate works for tips only and 20% is customary in charter fishing.

This is a trip where we bottom fish, troll, sight fish approx 15-30miles off of Virginia Beach in the Atlantic Ocean. This is a full day trip with a bit of a boat ride each way, but the rewards can be epic! You can expect multiple species such as back seabass, flounder, cobia, red drum, barracuda, spade fish, and more!
