Barkley Sound Halibut Fishing Charters

This 6-hour trip is the perfect excursion for more passionate anglers who want to spend plenty of time on the water! You'll head out early to hit the morning bite, with ample opportunity to target many different fish. Your captain will have you trolling for Salmon species (Chinook and Coho), jigging for Lingcod, and bottom fishing for Halibut. You can utilize your time to fish for the entirety of your trip, or you can mix it up with some local exploring! Rods, reels, lures, and tackle are included.

Enjoy prime-time fishing for Salmon and Halibut on the rich waters surrounding the Pacific Rim. You can fish along the shoreline for Chinook or travel offshore to target Salmon and Halibut on the banks. The captain's custom-built boat can take large groups of anglers. You'll enjoy comfy seating inside a heated cab along with exterior seating on a big beamy back deck for anglers who like to be in the center of the action. 5% gst and fishing licences are not included in the price.

This 6-hour trip gives us more time to play. If the weather allows, we can cruise offshore to target Halibut. When offshore, we can target multiple species at the same time, too, depending on what you want to do. Or we can stay inshore and target multiple species, including Prawns, if you would like. Prawning takes about an hour, so keep that in mind on what you want to do. Please be advised, if you want to go offshore, there will be an additional $100 fuel surcharge

Six hours out on the water where you will be able to make it further and fish longer. A better chance for more fish and multiple species. Or, you can split it up if you like by fishing when the tides are best and spend the rest of the time checking out wildlife and seeing the sights. The departure times may vary.

Discover iconic fishing spots along the coast of Ucluelet and surrounding areas. We will be targeting Salmon, bottom fish and soak in some of the local marine wildlife. If you want to jig for lingcod or rock fish you need to bring your own jigs.

Enjoy fishing on the west coast of Vancouver Island in beautiful remote areas accessible only by boat. We provide all the rods, reels, tackle, and lures from some of the best brands in the industry, as well as life jackets, drinks and snacks. We also provide catch cleaning, but flash freezing and packaging is done by our friends at Ukee Seafood (not included in trip cost). Fishing license must be purchased in advance.
