Kachemak Bay Halibut Fishing Charters

Halibut trips take place from Homer, AK. The tides are some of the strongest tides on the planet, reaching 30 feet of movement. We plan every trip based on the tide time and size, so the start time varies each day. These adventures often include amazing wildlife viewing, beautiful scenery, and of course pounds of delicious Halibut fillets! Our vessel holds up to 6 fishermen and trips can last up to 8 hours. Halibut fishing is closed on all Tuesday's and Wednesday's in 2025.

You have the entire boat for your group, up to 6 people. This multi-species trip can include Halibut, Salmon and Rockfish, depending on your group preferences. Contact the captain for further details and options.

Target Halibut on this 8-hour adventure. Captain Josh will cover your fishing equipment and clean your catch after the trip. Make sure to buy your fishing license and bring some snacks and drinks. The trip runs from 6:30 a.m. to approximately 2:30 p.m.

Halibut Trips 5-7 hours

Homer Alaska is the Halibut Capital of the world and every year thousand of fishermen travel from all over the world to catch these tasty fish. The limit in 2025 is 2 fish a day and one must be under 27'' long.

Private 3/4 Day Halibut Charter up to 13 people. Many Alaska visitors want to experience Saltwater Fishing but simply do not have all day to do so. Our 3/4-day fishing adventure is meant to show you the best of Kachemak Bay's scenery and introduce you to the fun of catching Halibut! The day might be shorter, but we have not cut corners. You will be on one of our luxury gyro-stabilized vessels with; tons of horsepower, Shimano Reels, & all of the comforts that you would expect from a high-end charter.
