Kenai Peninsula Halibut Fishing Charters

Get out in the productive waters off the coast of Seward. You will spend approximately half your day fishing for halibut then switch gear and location and fish for salmon and or rockfish. (The itinerary will be determined by the weather conditions what fish are running and local regulations.) The captain will supply you with all the necessary fishing gear for this trip. You can expect a 1 to 3-hour ride to the best fishing grounds. Keep in mind Halibut is closed on Wednesdays during the season.

The crew will provide you with all the rods, reels, and terminal tackle you'll need, but make sure to have a valid Alaska fishing license with you. This is a shared trip, meaning that you will fish together with other anglers who booked the same trip. Trips are around 8 hours but are never exact.

Make the most of your summer in Alaska and head offshore and fish the Pacific's prolific waters in search of delicious Halibut. This incredible species is a table favorite all around the world, and you'll have the chance to take 2 back to shore to enjoy for yourself. There's always the potential of catching other species, like Cod, Rockfish, and Salmon.

Pearl was launched on 4/02/24. She will comfortably seat 12 anglers, however, she can fish up to 16 for Halibut. As a 48' catamaran landing craft powered by 300 HP Diesel outboards (1,200 hp), loaded with top-of-the-line rods, reels, and tackle, she can get to the fishing grounds and safely handle big water when the weather turns. The cabin is a walk-around, providing ample elbow room, comfort, and a cabin toilet.

This trip allows you and the crew to fish for 2 species on the day. This can include Halibut, Yellow Eye Rockfish, Black Rockfish, Lingcod, King Salmon, and Silver Salmon. Please check the Alaska Regulations for seasonality, size and bag limits. You can check these and acquire your fishing license at the Alaska Department of Fish Game website. Bring Lunch, drinks and snacks. Be ready to depart at 6:00 a.m. We only take 6 anglers on this trip. This is NOT a "Party Boat" of 12-18 other anglers.

Homer Alaska is the Halibut Capital of the world and every year thousand of fishermen travel from all over the world to catch these tasty fish. The limit in 2025 is 2 fish a day and one must be under 27'' long.

Come aboard one of the Largest and Most Comfortable Vessels in the Fleet. This trip allows you and the crew to fish for 2 species on the day. This can include Salmon, Halibut, Yellow Eye Rockfish, Black Rockfish, Lingcod, King Salmon, and Silver Salmon. Please check Alaska Regulations for seasonality, size and bag limits. Bring your lunch, snacks and drinks. Please be ready to depart at 6:00 a.m. We only take 6 anglers on this trip. This is NOT a "Party Boat" of 12-18 other anglers.

This is a shared trip approximately 8 hours in duration. We will target everyone’s halibut limit and then based on what’s in season and what’s biting, we’ll continue fishing for other species if there is time left in the day. This can include, rockfish, salmon, and pacific cod. If you want to catch halibut and have a great day fishing, this is your trip.
