Traverse City Lake Trout Fishing Charters

This trip will take you trolling for Salmon and Lake Trout in the inshore waters near the port of Frankfort. The price of the trip includes rods, reels, and terminal tackle. This is a good option for new anglers or those looking to get a quick lay of the land. Bring a pair of sunglasses, some drinks, and snacks if you like, and you're all set.

This is a 5-hour trip, including the time from when you leave the dock and arrive at the dock. The times for leaving the dock change with daylight savings. You'll be trolling after Salmon and Trout, but light tackle is also an option. The crew offers 1 to 4-person trips. It will also take up to 6 people for an additional charge per person.

Five and a half hours of fishing in the afternoon is just what you need to end the day. Troll for Salmon and Trout and learn new fishing tricks from the captain. Pack your snacks and drinks and you're ready to go. Make sure to bring fishing licenses. King Salmon can be good late May-June. Sometime in mid-July to early August, it shows back up. Trout fishing is usually phenomenal in May, June, and July. Afternoon trips leave between 4:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

If you are a person that gets seasick but still wants to have a fun adventure on a big lake, this is the trip for you. Let's start off trolling for Salmon, Trout, and Steelhead as the sun rises over beautiful Crystal Lake. These silver fish range from 2 - 10 lbs. they dont grow as large as their Great Lake cousins. I'll clean all Silver Fish and up to 10 Rock Bass. $2 per Rock Bass or perch after that.

On this trip, we will be targeting King Salmon, Coho Salmon, Steelhead and Lake Trout. We will run up to 25 miles from port to put you on fish. The captain supplies you with all the equipment you need, so just bring some food, drinks, and your fishing licenses before you depart.

The boat normally departs at approximately 5:00 a.m. You and the crew will go after Lake, Rainbow, and Brown Trout, as well as Chinook and Coho Salmon. The trip lasts for 5 hours and the price includes all the gear, your catch will be cleaned and bagged by the captain.

On this light tackle/hands-on fishing trip, we'll be cruising around the beautiful Grand Traverse Bay looking for lake trout & cisco. In May and June we look towards the shoreline and shallow reefs holding fish by casting and retrieving jigs or blade baits back to the boat. Then once the water warms, fish will then push put to deep water/reefs for the remainder of summer. At that point we will begin our vertical jigging charters and what a riot this tactic is!

Leave dock at 5 am, typically 5hrs of fishing, back to dock by 11am.
