Maine Lobster Fishing Charters

Our 2.5-hour family fishing trip offers a fun and exciting introduction to ocean fishing for beginners, families & kids (ages 7+). PLEASE NOTE*** If you are looking for big game charters or to fill your freezer with catch to take home, there are many other great Maine guides who specialize in Tuna, Striper, Shark, or Haddock trips. We will target a variety of different inshore species depending on the time of year, including Cod, Pollock and Mackerel, after which we will haul our lobster traps.

Curious about how Lobsters are caught in Maine? On this trip, we will haul a few Lobster traps & reset them just as it's been done in Maine for generations. Best of all, you can keep all legal-sized Lobsters and crabs! The trip includes sightseeing of the local area, & if time allows, we can try to catch a few mackeral. Please note this isn't a deep sea trip, we stay nearshore & focus is on lobstering rather rod & reel fishing. Please book a custom 4 hr trip if you'd like deep sea fishing with Lobsters.

Fish for Striper then head over to the crew's Lobster traps for an experience to remember. Any 'keeper' Lobster is yours to take home. Lobster fishing isn't available on Sundays. If available, the departure times can be customized to meet clients' requests.

Some great family fun. We fish for mackerel fish and then pull a few lobster traps. Maine has a rich tradition of lobstering. Come learn about this species and fishery. The captian will showcase the gear and biology of lobster. We will wlso fish for some baitfish on this trip. Note: can not lobster on sunday just fish.

An all-encompassing aquatic adventure designed for a delightful day on the water. Underway in the morning for a relaxing day of catching bait, checking lobster traps, visiting lighthouses, spotting whales, catching ground fish and stripers. Back to the dock before supper.
