If fishing in July it is best to not necessarily expect to catch the fish youโre targeting thus referring it to fishing versus catching. Captain Mike was very informative and very helpful.

Be sure you have nausea medication....the patch did not work for us! And bring water! We brought mostly sodas and that isnt good when you get sea sick! Now we know :)

Pick a comfortable boat with AC. The Ocean can lay down and be glass smooth in July but that also means no breeze.

Get a good guide that grew up fishing the Port Orange waters, knowing where the fish will be is 95% of a successful fishing trip. Age doesn't always provide the required knowledge.
