Cairns Queenfish Fishing Charters

This full-day shared charter will have you targeting Barramundi in Cairns Inlet, as well as Queenfish, Mangrove Jack, Fingermark, Giant Trevelly, Threadfin Salmon, Grunter and many more. Trips include fishing equipment and bait. BYO food and drinks. Trips have a maximum of 8 people.

The Inlet is home to a great diversity of species including the famous Barramundi, Mangrove Jack, Fingermark, Salmon, and Jewfish to name just a few. All rods and reels are included in the price, as well as the live bait. We supply cold drinking water and sunscreen but feel free to bring along your own snacks and drinks.

In his 7m custom built centre console, with a cruising speed of 30 knots, he can get you to the reef in 30 minutes and share some of the tips and tricks he has learned from over 20 years in the local commercial and charter fishing industry. With access to some of the most pristine fishing locations Far North Queensland has to offer, and using a range of techniques, we will be fishing for GT's, Nannygai, Coral Trout, Red Emperor and more.. The guides specialize in targeting Barramundi but this is far from your only option in this rich fishery. In order to ensure a personalized experience, this trip is for a maximum of 2 guests.

A maximum of 8 guests. Minimum age 12yo. All equipment, tackle, and bait are supplied. Experienced skipper/owner with 30 years local experience. Departing Port Douglas at 7.30am and returning at 1.30pm. Catch is bled and bagged. CONDITIONS # Minimum passenger numbers apply # Shared charters are to be paid in full by 3 days before departure date. # The operator reserves the right to transfer the charter to calm water options, including estuary, in the event weather conditions prevent accessing the reef.
