Scappoose Rainbow Trout (Steelhead) Fishing Charters

You'll go after Coho and Chinook Salmon! Luckily, you don't have to go too far offshore to reach them, only 5 miles will do the trick. You could be trolling or bottom fishing. The captain uses fresh anchovies as bait. They will be prepared before the trip and included in the price.

Explore the smaller, scenic rivers that feed into the Columbia on this 8-hour Salmon fishing trip! You'll fish between 5 and 10 miles of river in search of both Coho Salmon and King Salmon. No need to worry about gear – Capt. Tom provides that. Just pack drinks and snacks and don't forget to pick up a valid fishing license beforehand. Your catch will be processed at the end of the day.

You'll head out on Captain Herman's 23' Alumaweld to chase after the Steelhead and Chinook that make their way through the waters here. Don't be concerned if you're not confident at fishing. Herman loves to teach people how to fish and how to improve their techniques. Beginners and children are encouraged to head out onto the river with him.

Come enjoy a morning out on one of our beautiful rivers here in the Portland area. We will be fishing for Salmon, Steelhead, or Sturegon depending on the tome of year.

We will be fishing the Sandy River for the renowned Winter Steelhead. Located just minutes away from the Portland area, we will be able to fish for Winter Steelhead in the scenic Sandy River system. This is a hands on fishing experience with casting as our main method for catching these beautiful fish.

Full day trips last between 6 to 8hrs on the water

These are 8+ hour trips targeting salmon/ steelhead. Trip timing can vary depending on tides to maximize the best part of the day to catch fish.

This will be a 7-hour trip on the water. All gear needed for fishing will be provided (Safety equipment, rods, bait, tackle, expertise & education). Guests are required to purchase all necessary fishing licenses/tags before arrival (Guide will give further instructions upon booking). 1. Day or Annual angling license 2. Annual angling tag (only needed if purchasing your annual angling license; tag is included with your daily license purchase. 3. Columbia River Basin Endorsement (either day or annual).
