Freeport Redfish Fishing Charters

Based on when you book – Redfish and Trout are available throughout the whole year, while Sheepshead and Flounder are great in the winter months, and Cobia and more species are available in other seasons. Your trip will last 4 hours, but if you're really enjoying yourself and want 1 more hour on the water, Captain Brad will give you an extra hour free!

This trip is specifically designed for the kids. It's short because sometimes even a half day trip is too long for younger kids. If they're under 6 years old, they need to wear their life jackets at all times. This trip is catch and release only. It's designed for kids that are 10 years old and younger. We target whatever fish is biting beat that day so the kids will have action.

This trip is designed for the age group of 10–14 year old or beginners just getting into fishing. You won't go after big game fish but you'll still catch something tasty, while you learn the basics.

Grab your cup of coffee and get ready to fish the beautiful Choctawhatchee Bay! On this trip, you'll be targeting Redfish, Trout, Black Drum, and other inshore species on the bayous, flats, and backcountry. Fishing gear and licenses are provided as well. This trip can accommodate up to 4 anglers max.

This is a great mid-morning educational trip to get the kids out there for some fun action on the water! Gear, tackle, and a fishing license are all included.

Our most popular trip, departs Freeport, Santa Rosa Beach, or Sandestin depending on where the 'bite' is happening. Trips leave either in the morning or afternoon. Captain will have bait, (live shrimp when available), ice, and all tackle and licenses.

Inshore trip targeting Redfish, Speckled Trout, Mangrove Snapper, Jack Crevalle, etc. for up to 6 people. Pick-up time is flexible, but trips are generally 0700-1100 or 0800-1200. The trip includes all tackle, license, and bait.

Inshore/backwater - The kids trip is a little slower pace. Capt. Ryan will help the kids and teach them as they fish. Depending on the redfish bite, you can expect to catch catfish and sting ray on this trip.
