Golden Meadow Redfish Fishing Charters

This amazing morning trip will take you fishing the bays and bayous of Jean Lafitte only 40 minutes from New Orleans. You'll be chasing Redfish, Black Drum, Sheepshead, and Speckled Trout. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife, from alligators to a variety of local birds.

Follow the shallow waters up to 40 miles away to hit South Louisiana's sweetest fishing spots. You'll fish different areas depending on the season, due to the fish migration, but you're in safe hands with an experienced captain who will get you reeling in incredible inshore species between Golden Meadow and Grand Isle. Try jigging and popping with his Daiwa gear, or bring your own fly fishing equipment to catch one on the fly. Live bait will be prepared before the trip, so get ready to lure some beauties.

The full day trip is an optional 8 hours on the water full of fun and fishing either in the marsh of South Louisiana or on Louisiana's coast, targeting Speckled Trout and Redfish. The captain will provide all the poles, reels, and terminal tackle. He also covers you for live bait (live shrimp) water, and chips on the boat. All other drinks, food, and snacks are up to your choice.
