Kenai River Sockeye Salmon Fishing Charters

Fish downriver from Skilak Lake, on wider stretches of water within the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge. Target the seasonal runs of Sockeye and Silver Salmon, Dolly Varden, and Rainbow Trout, with the opportunity to see wildlife. Departure location of mile 80 Sterling Hwy. Sterling Alaska. Transportation is available from Cooper Landing. Salmon have daily catch limits and trout and char are catch and release.

Give yourself a full 8 hours on the water and take in everything the Kenai River has to offer! You'll explore the Middle River, the Upper River, or the Kenai River Canyons in search of delicious Salmon and Trout. Your targets will vary depending on the time of year you visit. Make sure to pick up a fishing license beforehand and feel free to bring along any drinks and snacks you'd like to enjoy!

Going for salmon on either the kasilof or kenai river whichever river is producing more fish, trip duration is up to 6 hours or until we get a limit whatever comes first. If you want to spend a whole day exploring the prolific waters of the Kenai River, this is the trip for you. Spend 8 hours enjoying the natural beauty of the river, and reeling in a variety of fish species. Your guide will provide you with the fishing equipment, just bring a license, some food and drinks, and you're all set!

Six hours of fishing will bring you even more fun and excitement! Starting at 7:00 a.m., you and the captain will have lots of fun exploring rich freshwater grounds for a number of prized species. Just bring some food and drinks as well as your licenses, and you'll be set to go.

Embark on a Salmon adventure and make wonderful memories on this 8-hour trip! The time of the summer will dictate what Salmon species you'll hunt. Make sure to bring some snacks and drinks and be ready to depart from the dock at 6:00 a.m.

A 5-hour trip (or until the limit is reached) fishing on the beautiful Kenai River for Sockeye Salmon. All rods, reels, and tackle are provided for you and the captain will fillet your catch to take to the processor. These trips are available from July 15 to August 15. You and the captain will depart at 4:30 a.m. and get back to the dock at 9:30 a.m.

We have a variety of fishing available. The first one is fishing from a power boat on the Kenai River for Salmon ( Sockeyes, Silvers, Pinks, and Kings when open), Rainbow trophy-sized Trout, and Dolly Varden. Or take a personal float tube on a lake for fly fishing or trolling for large Rainbow Trout, Grayling, and Dolly Varden.
