Florida Scallop Fishing Charters

1/2 day fishing & 1/2 day of scalloping (8 hour trip) - included in the option is a morning filled with fishing in the mangroves for Redfish or moving out to some open waters for some Trout. Then once it's hot out we will head to the scallop grounds to cool off in the water and snorkel for those yummy scallops.

The trip will consist of snorkeling in the beautiful waters of the Gulf for bay scallops. The is all inclusive from gear and scallop cleaning at the end of the trip to beverages. On these trips, you will commonly see dolphins and other marine life in their natural habitat. 'Scallop till you drop' with all the necessary equipment provided. 6 - 8 hours total. It is a fun filled day! Scallop Season starts July 1st and continues through September 24th.

Scallop trips include mask/snorkel and fins. Depart from your dock or at a local marina. Snorkel in the crystal clear water for these tasty bivalves. I provide everything you would need for an exciting trip to catch dinner. Don’t be surprised to see blowfish, rays, starfish, and more while searching for scallops. Once anchored with power pole, I can put up the sunshade and dive flag and give divers a quick safety brief, it is divers down with hopes for full bags. So, book today for fun and excitement.

You'll scallop charter will be aboard a houseboat with comfortable seating and a restroom. Starting out of Homosassa, you'll have the experience of scalloping in the area's nearshore waters for 6 hours. This takes place in the crystal clear waters of the Gulf of America. The USCG certified captain is there to give you all the needed help and equipment for a memorable trip. Coast Guard regulations allows up to 6 guests per boat.

This trip is designed for those families some want a beach day , some want to snorkel around our historic Stilt houses and some want to do some fishing .
