Ocracoke Black Seabass Fishing Charters

Target species are Cobia, Amberjack, Sea Bass, King Mackerel, Triggerfish, and/or Shark. In the late spring, the full-day trips are for Cobia. For Cobia trips we need the sun to get up to be able to spot the fish so we typically leave the dock around 7:30–8 a.m., returning around 4–5 p.m. In the summer months, we run full-day wreck fishing trips for Amberjack, Seabass, Triggerfish, King Mackerel, and more.

This trip will take you to the offshore waters where you can target a variety of big game fish like Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Sailfish, Wahoo, Bluefin and Yellowfin Tuna, and more. It's always a good idea to dress in layers, bring lunch and drinks for the day, and wear polarized sunglasses.

Bring food and drinks, camera, sun protection, a cooler, and rain gear (just in case). You can keep the catch and have it cleaned at the marina after the trip. The cost is $1 per fish. The captain will prepare your fishing equipment. Great trip if you want to stay closer to the shore.

If a half day isn't enough time for you to do everything you want, this one's the right one for you. It allows for more time to visit fishing grounds or wrecks that are a bit further from shore. Here you'll find species like Amberjack, Mackerel, and Cobia. The fishing gear will be ready for you, just make sure to bring sunscreen, as well as some food and drinks, and come have a fishing adventure!

On a typical PM 4 1/2-hour trip leaving around noon, you will be trolling around wrecks and other areas that hold some larger fish. We will also might live bait fish for amberjack, king mackerel and other wreck fish. There will be no Mahi, Tuna, or any other offshore fish targeted on this trip. Keep in mind that spray sunscreen is not allowed on board.

This is a 4-hour fishing trip in the Pamlico Sound and nearshore waters of Hatteras. You'll depart at 7:00 a.m. and will have all the fishing gear ready for you when you arrive. Just bring some food and drinks before you leave and the fun can start.

We stay in the calm waters of the sound or depending on the weather, will head out into the ocean, catching drum, speckled trout, flounder, spanish mackeral and whatever else the ocean might bring us that day. This is a great trip for any age and skill level - light tackle fishing and a Capt. who will show you how to catch if you are a beginner!
