Scituate Blue Shark Fishing Charters

This is an OFFSHORE 12-hour trip for 4 passengers max. We will head 20-50 miles offshore, in search LARGE pelagic sharks & LARGE tuna. We also bottom fish for tasty fish like haddock, pollack & cod while waiting for the big ones to bite. This is a chance to battle some of the largest fish in the Atlantic Fish can be processed & shipped home for a fee. No Whimps, Weenies or land lubbers!

On this trip we will chum the waters to lure in these black eyed beasts, and set out our lines using “piano wire” leaders with heavy duty shark hooks . Equipped with the heaviest tackle and our XL fisherman’s outfitter rods, you can try your hand at battling some of the biggest predators these waters have to offer. Some of the species we may encounter include, porbeagle shark, thresher shark, blue shark, and mako. Plus many more!

Mid summer through October is prime time for shark fishing out of Gloucester. Porbeagle sharks up to 500 pounds, giant Thresher, Blue Sharks and Makos are all common around this time. You can do battle with these strong fighting fish on standup gear, full sized tuna rods or even light tackle.Some species are excellent for eating and can be processed for you to take home. We are pleased to offer an 8 hour Shark fishing special. These are fast moving hard fighting thrilling fish to catch. Most is tag and reales, and as part of this you will get to name the shark when we send in the tagging information.
