Port St. Joe Mako Shark Fishing Charters

The captain loves looking for new spots and a couple of hours of this trip are specifically dedicated to finding and trying new spots. The value is that you never know what you are going to catch. You'll have a chance to reel in some incredible fish on this trip and if you happen to nail a great catch, the captain will allow you to name it!

Fishing in the cooler late afternoons for sharks. We have many different varieties of sharks in our Gulf including Bull sharks, Mako, black tip, tiger sharks, hammer head and many more.

On a 6-hour trip, you can bottom fish or do some trolling. Bottom fishing will take you targeting Red Snapper, Grouper, Triggerfish, and Amberjack as well as other reef fish. While trolling, you'll look for King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, and other migrating fish.

Shark fishing gives you the opportunity to catch something that may be bigger than you are. You set your lines and then sit around eating and telling stories of past battles occasionally looking over to see if there is any activity on the rods. When the clicker goes off and the shark starts taking line, it is time for battle.

Will be anchoring and drifting large baits on heavy duty shark tackle. We can also swap the heavy duty stuff out for light tackle if you are up for the challage. This is a trip full of big pulls and screaming drags.
