Hawaii Short-Tail Red Snapper (Ehu) Fishing Charters

Enjoy a beautiful and exciting morning on the water. This trip is perfect for the large group you choose whether you'd like to bottom fish or go offshore in search of that big game fish. You and the crew will leave the dock at 6:00 a.m. and return at 10:00 a.m.

Meet at the dock at 5:45 a.m. for a full day of offshore fishing. With 8+ hours on the water, you'll have plenty of time to reach prime fishing grounds and target a variety of pelagic species, as well as go after the fish of your choice.

Get ready for an awesome 5-hour fishing trip; mixing it up with bottom fishing and trolling. Some cool catches like tuna, mahi-mahi, snapper, trevally, and more. The open sea is your playground, so get ready for the thrill of the chase and the satisfaction of reeling in a bunch of ocean treasures. This trip promises a fun day on the water, with the chance for some exciting catches. Please bring a Photo ID to the boat, and there is a 4.712% Hawaii GET tax, 3% marina tax and 3% credit card surcharge.

We'll take you out of Hilo Harbor Offshore to the 300' to 500 Fathom area and troll for Ono, Mahi Mahi, Marlin, Ahi Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, Barracuda and Shortbill Spearfish. We will stop at one of the state FAD buoys and try for Skipjack and Yellowfin Tuna if time permits us. This is a 4 Hr trip that leaves at 6:30am. You can also discuss your trip with us and we will try and tailor it to your expectations. Price INCLUDES ALL Hawaii Sales tax, Harbor use fees and fuel surcharge.

Leave the harbor put out the green light to attract bait. Catch the bait and send em down to see what bites. Snapper and trigger fish mainly but a good time. Easy to get sick at night so we stay in the calm areas and fet out get some hook ups and get back before anyone gets sick - hopefully. Can also leave a little earlier and do half the charter in the light and as the sun sets switch over to the night rigs and deploy the hurt on the fish . Fun times boat has custom lights. This is an interactive form of fishing with lots of action. light tackle makes for a fun fight witch experts and beginners can enjoy together, We will be dropping bait to the bottom, feeling for nibbles, setting the hook, and fighting fish back to the boat.
