Mims Mangrove Snapper Fishing Charters

There's a $450 fee for starting the day fishing for 4 guests. It's 4 hours of great Trout, Redfish, and Black Drum fishing on the inland waterways of the Indian River and Mosquito Lagoon. Using live bait, lures, or whatever it takes to catch our target off guard. While we're looking for fish you might spot some of the local wildlife – dolphins, manatees, turtles, and numerous birds are readily viewable.

These are not redfish trips. This trip is for 2 adults, 1 adult and 2 children, or 2 adults and 1 child. Use live shrimp to catch a variety of fish of all sizes. No experience needed. Children as young as 5 can catch fish on appropriately sized tackle. We fish protected waters close to shore. See a variety of wildlife including dolphins which come right next to the boat. These trips always result in fish being caught and it is not uncommon to catch a dozen different species and over 30/trip.

This 3 hour trip offers guests a shorter experience but still the possibillities of catching some quality fish! Maybe on a time crunch and just want to get on the water for some quick action or even just new anglers who may want to get warmed up to the experience and try their luck. We will still fish all the same tactics and most locations. Expect to use live bait and or artifical lures on light to medium heavy action gear.

We can do different types of fishing from trolling to bottom fishing at our local reefs between 5-12 miles offshore. Trolling, we can target King Mackerel, Barracuda, and other pelagic species. Bottom fishing, we will be targeting various types of Snapper, Triggerfish, and various other species.

You will be fishing the beautiful backcountry waters and flats from the Northern Mosquito Lagoon Region targeting Redfish, Snook, Tarpon, Trout, Sheepshead, and Mangrove Snapper. Fishing live bait or artificials.

Time of trip can be adjusted. On this trip we have time to fish several spots, and target multiple species inside of Port Canaveral and up to the jetty, along the beach, and some of the buoys.

The first few hours of light in the morning can be a fantastic bite. This 4-hour charter is for that fisherman or family that doesn't have the time to be on the water all day but still wants the opportunity to catch some fish. Inshore fishing can be pretty productive in these first few hours after sunrise. We will be fishing the inshore waters near New Smyrna Beach, Edgewater, and Oak Hill, primarily looking at fishing structure and the backwaters of this unique fishery.
