Marathon Mutton Snapper Fishing Charters

May 1 is opening day for grouper in Marathon Florida we are offering a trip that is particularly targeting black grouper, red grouper and these fish fight hard on light tackle and if need be, we have the heavy gear. This trip you can expect to be anchored chumming, and Catching snappers waiting for the big bite. The fight for these fish is phenomenal in the eating is even better. Come join us for the month of May when the season begins, and the fishing is at its finest.

This trip is designed to be economical, fun and you decide what to do. You can fish for fun limited to 4 poles in shallow water for smaller fun fish. Snorkel and see some cool fishies and other lost at sea items. Go to a sandbar, go for lunch or dinner. Go down the water slide to get some great action photos and fun. This trip will take you 25 miles offshore to fish for Tuna or a day of deep dropping with electric reels to catch Swordfish.

On this trip, you can pick from a variety of options. Fish for Yellowtail and Mangrove Snapper as well as Grouper. Set the rods out and troll to target pelagics such as Mahi Mahi, Tuna, and Wahoo. Drift fish for some of your larger Mutton Snapper and Pompano fish. Seasons will determine your catch. Gear, bait, bottled water, and fishing licenses for up to 6 anglers await on board. Snorkeling gear is not included.

Fishing reefs, wrecks, or in the bay, you and the captain will target various types of Grouper, Snapper, Jack, Mackerel, Trout, as well as sharks. Be ready to depart at 12:30 p.m. The captain provides everything you need for this 6-hour fishing adventure.

On the reef, you will have constant action with Yellowtail Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, and Grouper. In the fall months, we will offer trolling for Wahoo early morning.
