Great Barrier Reef Red Emperor Snapper Fishing Charters

Get some mates together for a full day inshore fishing reefs, wrecks, and islands. You'll be targeting the likes of Trevally, Coral Trout, Mackerel, Cobia and more. The captain will provide all the fishing equipment, just bring some sunscreen, and come enjoy your day in these productive fishing grounds!

Vessel can take a max of 6 anglers. All tackle, ice and bottled water supplied.

Private half day inshore fishing charters around Magnetic Island offer many different styles of fishing from trolling game fishing, reef fishing, bottom fishing, lure fishing, bait fishing and sightseeing. Humpback Whales are around between June/July and September.

Our 4 hour charters leave the marina approximately 7 am and return around 11 am

A maximum of 8 guests. Minimum age 12yo. We aim to fish remote ground. All equipment, tackle, and bait are supplied. Experienced skipper/owner with 30 years local experience. Departing Port Douglas at 7.30a.m. and returning at 3.30p.m. Catch is bled and bagged. CONDITIONS # Private charters are to be paid in full by 7 days before departure date. # The operator reserves the right to transfer the charter to calm water options, including estuary, in the event weather conditions prevent accessing the reef.

This length of trip allows us to travel that bit further to those less fished areas, as we start early, you're back in port to relax and enjoy the pleasures of Airlie in the afternoon.

We can personally tailor your day to suit whatever you want to target.This adventure is limited to 4pax we do charge a 10 percent surcharge on public holidays and do charge $9.00 per person extra when entering the marine park (Please note as of march 27 2026 we will be adding a temporary 10 percent fuel levy to all tours )
