Big Pine Key Spanish Mackerel Fishing Charters

This exciting full-day trip is exactly what the doctor ordered for those who want to fish the flats and backcountry of the Lower Keys for Sharks, Cudas, Snook, Snapper, Redfish, Permit, and Tarpon. If Bonefish is your main target, you can look forward to catching this fish almost any time of year, especially in the winter if the water temperature doesn't get too cold. January is the only month when you're less likely to catch Bonefish.

This trip will give you a very nice taste of the Lower Keys backcountry fishing and all it has to offer.

When the winds allow, fish the local reefs and wrecks for snapper, grouper, and whatever else wants to bite!

Far Offshore fishing trips include 15-30 miles offshore 600ft-2500ft deep fishing in the Gulf Stream for Black Fin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Sail Fish, Sword Fish, Skip Jack, Wahoo, Cobia, Amber Jack, and several other species. On Windy days we may divert to backwaters or bay side of Big Pine Key for Mangrove Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, Grouper, any sharks are catch and release on our vessel.

We will depart at 8 a.m. for a short ride into the Great Florida Reef. While fishing in the only living coral barrier reef in the continental United States, we will target Snapper, Mackerel, Grouper, and many other species of fish found on this reef. We will be bottom fishing in the crystal clear waters of the Florida Keys ranging from 40 to 100 feet, often with visibility down to 50 or 60 feet.

Aboard our 25 ft centerconsole we will head out to bend some rods at the reef, wrecks, or inshore. This trip is easily tailored around kids making for a family fun fishing trip. Capt Tom will choose the best location based on where the fish are biting and the weather that day making sure everyone has the best experience here in the Florida Keys. 6 hour trip gives you all the time to get out to the reef to anchor up for good reef fishing or go offshore to fish the wrecks or high speed troll. If you dont want to go that far out, we can stay close to fish the patch reefs or to bridge fish. Expect to see your pelagic fish on this trip when fishing offshore along with all of your Snapper, Mackerel, Grouper along in the mix

You'll be targeting species such as Yellowtail, Mangrove, and Mutton Snapper, as well as Grouper. You'll be fishing the Atlantic reefs, in depths ranging from 15 to 100 feet. Gear, bait, bottled water, and fishing licenses for up to 6 anglers are all provided. Please note that a customary 20% tip is not included in the price, so do not forget to thank the Captain for his service.
