Southport Spanish Mackerel Fishing Charters

This is a full day of fishing where you will spend 8 hours on the inshore waters targeting Flounder, Redfish, Sheepshead, Stingray. Trout, and other local species. You will have enough time to change a few productive locations during this trip.

Get out on the edge of the gulf stream. Lots of tasty bottom fish like Seabass and Snapper. Line screaming Kingfish, jumping Mahi, and Cobia. This is also a great trip to Frying Pan Tower!

Running from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., this trip will see you go 1-20 miles offshore. You and the captain will be targeting sharks, Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Cobia, as well as bull Red Drum in the fall. You will just need some snacks and drinks for the trip.

We will head out into the deeper water in the 10–15 mile range where we will find Amberjack, Kingfish, Seabass, Grunt, Grouper, and maybe Mahi Mahi.

Inshore/Nearshore fishing, targeting specific species based on our best chances to have the most fun and successful day on the water. We'll be using an array of fishing techniques, from trolling, jigging, casting, and bottom fishing. I can take preferences on specific species to fish for. I will be honest and advise if that's a good target for the time of year.

From the beach to 40-50 miles out. Species include King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Bonito, False Albacore, Bull Red Drum, Shark, Black Seabass, Cobia, Snapper, and Grouper! Included in this trip are the fishing license, fishing gear, bait, ice, and water.

Inshore, nearshore, or offshore. Whatever we can get into to catch some gamefish.

This is a 5hr trip inshore/nearshore.

This trip is 15-20 miles offshore live bait fishing, drift fishing, and a chance a some big sharks! During the summer months ocassional Mahi can be caught as well.

Enjoy the Mid-Atlantic Surf Fishing Academy experience for up to 4 people. This is your opportunity to learn basic skills, fish tidal changes and varying fishing conditions. The best trip for learning AND Fishing! The session will start with hands-on instructions on rigs and rigging, bait and bait preparation, reading the beach, knot tying, tying shock leaders, and more. Following the teaching session, we will fish and put those skills to work for the remainder of the day.
