Hilton Head Island Spanish Mackerel Fishing Charters

We can hit the offshore reefs for various bottom fish as well as Cobia, King and Spanish mackerel, Amberjack, and Red Snapper.

You will travel 5-10 miles off the coast of Hilton Head Island to catch a variety of fish including King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Tarpon, Jack Crevalle, and much more.

This 6-hour trip gives you plenty of time to head further out onto the waters surrounding Hilton Head – get ready to cruise up to 45 minutes from the shore! You'll have the chance to target a variety of species, including Redfish, Black Drum, Sheepshead, and even Cobia or Barracuda. You'll head to the local reefs and wrecks, so expect Snapper and Grouper species, too. Your captain will provide top-notch rods and reels, bait, tackle, and a fishing license for all guests.

Four people max. If you want to hook some tasty table fare, join your captain on this 6-hour adventure. You'll be able to travel further out from the shore to reach seriously deep waters, which are home to anything from King Mackerel, Barracuda, Grouper and Snapper species, Cobia, and whatever else is biting. Recommended for more experienced anglers, as you'll be traveling far out onto the Atlantic and hook huge, hard-fighting fish! You'll be provided with rods, reels, bait, tackle, and a license.

Captain Jay or Buddy will take you out to the nearshore reefs to target both King and Spanish Mackerel, Black Seabass, Black Drum, and many other reef fish that inhabit the nearshore area and its artificial reefs and wrecks.

You'll go 10-15 miles offshore to some great fishing spots at some of the local reefs and wrecks. The trip is weather permitting, so you'll stay closer to the shore if the water gets choppy. Bring lunch, drinks, and plenty of sunscreen. Dress appropriately.

Tailored to the intermediate-to-advanced angler, this 3/4 day trip allows anglers the time needed to travel to numerous locations and target multiple species. On this excursion, you’ll target inshore, nearshore, and reef species, and your fishing licenses, bait and tackle, ice, bottled water, and photographs of your adventure are all included.

On this trip, you and the crew are targeting the same fish as on the 4-hour trip, just adding a little extra time. Tarpon, Shark, Bull Red, Kingfish, Flounder, Redfish, and Trout are all possible targets, depending on the location.

On this trip, we get go offshore as far as the weather allows to get us to the artifical reefs and beyond. The sping allows us to target cobia, sheepshead, and black seabass. The summers give us hot water for king mackerel, spanish mackerel, the ocasional sailfish, cobia, and others. The fall gives way to big bull red drum and a plethora of other species. Our 5 hr trip gives us the opportunity to fish the nearshore artificial reefs and wrecks (within ~25 mi range off the beach) where we encounter Spanish and King Mackerel, Barracuda, Cobia, Jack Crevalle, Ladyfish, False Albacore or other coastal fish. Primary tactics are trolling, with occasional bottom fishing or casting when conditions are right. Weather permitting. Ocean trips require cooperative seas! Inshore/Backcountry is an option for rough days.
