We steam offshore into the Gulf Stream, to fish the numerous upwelling’s from the current hitting the undersea terrain, most commonly the “ Humps”. It is like fishing in an aquarium out there. Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, and Mahi are the most common species we target out there. We use a combo of trolling and pitching live bait out on the grounds. These trips can include deep dropping for Swordfish or bottom fish if conditions permit.

We went after the swordfish during a super weather day. Jake and Hope worked hard to get us on the fish but it wasn’t in the stars today. Regardless, we had an amazing day on the water! Jake even refunded a portion of my payment because we didn’t get one. Great people! I hope to go with them again in the near future.
