Bayport Tarpon Fishing Charters

The 6-hour long trip can take you to the inshore and nearshore waters in search of Grouper, Shark, Redfish, Sheepshead, Snook, Cobia and Spotted Seatrout. Captain Tim will advise on the best fish to target depending on the season.

Inshore fishing with one of the best! We will target Trout Redfish and Snook. Live bait fishing and also possibility of lure fishing. Some species of fish are seasonal. Buccaneer Westcoast Charters will take you fishing aboard their 24' Sea ark (Flats boat) originally built in 2006 and restored in 2019. It is powered by a 150HP Yamaha engine, with a maximum cruising speed of 35 knots and it can accommodate up to 6 passengers.

This trip is a great choice for those that do not want a long day on the water. The 3/4 day generally allows you to target more species and on the slower mornings find the bite.

On this trip you will mostly target Snook, Redfish, Trout, Cobia, and any other fish that is available in the season. We will mostly be using light tackle. All fishing equipment is provided.

Half Day trips allow your group to experience the unique combination of quality and quantity of species that the Clearwater/Dunedin area has to offer. On calm days, Half Day trips give you the opportunity to venture a few miles offshore as well as fishing inshore, depending on what the captain views as the best option to get you on fish from start to finish!

Fishing is great year-round here on the gulf coast and depending on the season there is a wide variety of heavy-hitting species we will be targeting such as Snook, Redfish, Speckled Trout, Tarpon, Cobia, Flounder, Sheepshead, Mackerel, Jack Crevalle, black drum, and even Sharks! When the weather allows and the seas are calm the nearshore rock piles hold Grouper, Snapper, Hogfish, Tripletail, and more! All skill levels & ages welcomed! Rates are for up to 4 passengers.
