Spend 5 hours chasing the "Silver King"! Our tarpon trips usually start with a little time on light tackle, catching the silver kings favorite bait, then heading out just off the beautiful Sarasota beaches chasing the 200lb giant's.

If you have ever dreamed of catching the world famous silver king than this Tarpon Fishing Charter should be on your bucket list. Every year starting in May and ending in August, large schools of Tarpon ranging from 50lbs - over 200lbs migrate up our coast along the beautiful beaches of Siesta Key, Lido Key, Longboat Key and Anna Maria. Captain James has been targeting these highflying fish for over 15 years in Sarasota and would love to put you on a fish of a lifetime.

The 3/4 day trip offers a bit more time than the half day to stay on the fish when the bite is hot!

Give yourself some extra time to land that elusive trophy Silver King (or several). We’ll spend the day chumming these beasts to the boat for that bucket list fight! It’s also very common to hook up with a variety of predator sharks while Tarpon fishing for a bonus! ***Flexibility with scheduling is important to maximize the ability to get on a good bite with the right tides. This will be discussed upon booking your trip with your guide.***

These Tarpon trips are for the serious angler wanting to scratch off a bucket list fish. The times of pickup vary. The trip is a minimum of 4 hours and will include all fishing gear, licenses, bait, and water. Note: you will usually only be able to fish one or two rods at a time. Another note: It is best to contact the captain before booking this trip. The season is May/June.
