St. Pete Beach Tarpon Fishing Charters

Inshore/Nearshore fishing offers a wide variety of species. Your captain will let you know the hot bite for the day. Probably the most popular of all our trips, because of the diversity of the bite and fishing techniques.

This is the ultimate Fisherman's Adventure! On the 8 hr full Day Charter expect an action-packed day! Your Charter will begin with an early morning ride taking in the beauty that is the sunrise just peeking above the beautiful horizon of Tampa Bay. The full day will allow us to run further, fishing spots with less pressure from other anglers. Whether it's fishing a reef off the coast catching hard-fighting Grouper and Snapper or cruising the beaches looking for a pod of the legendary Silver King Tarpon!

Tarpon Fishing for the Silver King!

If you want to maximize your chance of getting fish on the boat, this is the trip for you. Spend a whole day on the water, getting acquainted with the Tampa Bay's diverse inshore waters. You'll be able to hunt the flats, as well as the open bays for a range of game fish like Snook, and even Tarpon (when in season), to delicious table fish, such as snapper, seasonal inshore grouper, spotted sea trout, seasonal king mackeral, among many more. Fishing mostly live bait.

Please note that the First Mate works for tips and 15-20% is customary - much appreciated! This trip is for big fish. The silver kings Tarpon are here . The Sharks are here with them and are generally a by catch but we can also target huge sharks if thats what you would prefer . Goliath grouper have also moved to the inshore wrecks and cam be targeted if you like . This is the trip for big trophy catch and release fish .

A full day chasing the Silver King!

The full day inshore/nearshore fishing trip offers the best opportunity to pursue a variety of different species and fishing options here in Tampa Bay. Depending on time of year, tides, and weather conditions, it is possible on a full day trip to explore our nearshore Gulf reefs and wrecks (within 9 miles of shore), then hit the inshore shallow water flats- all in the same afternoon. (This trip option is best suited for experienced anglers that want to maximize their opportunity on the water).

Six hours allow you to go for multiple species and really target the inshore gamefish such as Snook, Redfish, Trout, Tarpon, Sheepshead, and Jack.
