Playa Ocotal Skipjack Tuna Fishing Charters

On half days, you'll stay inshore. The crew will look for action to keep everyone busy and to catch fish for dinner. The price includes a 13% tax in accordance with Costa Rican law.

This is usually an inshore fishing trip out on our local reef, some 4 miles SSW of Tamarindo Beach. You will be able to target Red Snapper, Rooster Fish, Dorado (Mahi Mahi), and Wahoo. Occasionally, you can hook up a Sailfish, a Marlin, or a Yellowfin Tuna. Includes ice, bait, bottled water, beers, soft drinks, snacks, and fresh fruits.

6 hours of offshore deep sea fishing and trolling for Billfish (Sailfish, Marlin), Mahi Mahi, and more. Plenty of drinks, snacks, and sandwiches provided, as well as rods, reels, and terminal tackle, lures, and fish cleaning.

This half-day trip will take you fishing the inshore waters for Roosterfish, Snapper, and more. All gear, bait, ice, bottled water, drinks, snacks, and fruit are provided.

Make the most of the crystal clear Pacific waters and spend a full day under the sun, searching for exotic fish. Enjoy the serenity of the open ocean and explore the blue seas that are home to plenty of colorful fish. Test your skills against Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Grouper, Snapper, Amberjack, Wahoo, Snook, Roosterfish, and many more prized creatures as you work up a sweat and look to fill the boat. An 8-hour trip allows more time to target all the exciting species in these waters. Mornings are the prime time to go fishing in this area. Big game fishing targeting species such as Mahi-Mahi, Tunas (black and yellowfin), Sailfish are part of the main goal. If we do coastal fishing, we aim for Rooster fish and Amberjacks.
