We did a fishing charter with Ariel on Calypso in Puerta Vallarta.  While it was a beautiful day on the water, the fish just weren’t biting.  We only managed one Bonita and one Yellow Tail.  We will try again the next time we are in PV.  Note to everyone.  When booking through Fishing Booker they require a deposit and then tell you to pay the rest to the captain.  The form indicated that gratuities and credit card service charges are excluded in the charter.  NO WHERE does it say that the captain excepts CASH ONLY!  We did not have enough cash on us at the time so Ariel gave us a ride back to our resort so we could pay him what he was owed.

Samuel and his first mate were awesome!  We caught 17 fish total! 15 Bonita, a Spanish Mackerel and a Jack Carvelle. He made us up some fresh concoction from 2 of the fish we caught and put it on Tostadas was amazing!  Would definetly go again next time on vacation!

We had a great time and we’re in the fish quite a bit.  Every one of the five of us caught multiple fish.  We also saw many whales and some dolphins.  In all we caught 5 different species of fish which was really cool.  Thank you again for the fun filled day.

4th trip with Calypso. Tough conditions made it challenging but we caught fish and they clearly value the fishery resource. Never disappoints and has always works hard to put us on fish. Have fished charters over 30 times and Captain Ariel stands out as one of the very best.

Tony & Eric were a great crew, we booked a mixed trip, trip fishing, whale watching, lunch on the beach and sightseeing. They did it all and extra, very knowledgeable and friendly. Would not hesitate to book again on our next trip.
