We joined Ariel for an 8 hour fishing trip and he and his crew mate were amazing. They were super knowledgable, helpful and patient, even helping to teach my 12 year old son to cast. The crew worked incredibly hard all day. The day started out rainy and slow but we hit a school of Mahi late afternoon and the crew kept us fishing for an extra hour at no additional charge to ensure that we caught some fish. In all, we hooked a blue marlin and landed seven Mahi and one Shark. On the way back (approx two hours one way), the mate prepared fresh ceviche that was excellent and cleaned/filleted our fish. We got off to a late start because the boat was at a different dock than was my party, but once were underway, it was great, and the crew kept us out longer to make up for lost time. Eric and Alec were great guys who worked their butts off to make sure we caught fish. From the time we booked the event the communication was great, instructions and timelines were spot on.  You could tell these fellows have done this a time or two.  Very nice boat, clean and in good shape as was the fishing gear.  We went for fun and fish and were not disappointed.  Got on the fish right away and stayed on them till we were tired.  Wrapped up our 6 hour trip with cervechi on way back to harbour.  Captain Arios and mate Alex we terrific, hard workers and fun.  Will go out... I did my research and (wisely) chose Calypso II. We had a fantastic day of fishing and a great 6 hours with Ariel and Eric. Ariel repeatedly put us on top of huge Crevalle Jack fish while the boats around us mostly watched us reel them in. The boat was immaculately clean and the crew are very friendly and easy-going. The bathroom is clean and works fine if you need it. All around a great trip and I highly recommend this crew to anyone.
