I booked our trip on tge wrong day and they were very accommodating to ler us move to the correct day. We also hit alot of traffic and ended up being very late. They were very understanding with everything that happened. We caught a good amount of fish on our tour. Very knowledgeable of fishing and we had a great day.

We had Fernando as our fishing guide, and we had an insane time. We caught 4 different species of fish, and had really fun conversations. He was very friendly and always had great energy, even through the rain. He was extremely knowledgeable on the species of the area, even the birds and other animals. He gave us great recommendations not just for fishing but for restaurants and places to go to have fun. Overall Fernando exceeded all our expectations, we definitely recommend.

My boyfriend and I went fishing on our last day in Puerto Rico, and were lucky enough to have Captain Abi. He was so attentive, personable, helpful and even brought us lunch! He was totally fluent in English) my boyfriend is fluent but I speak no Spanish..) and was a great captain. We felt safe, educated and comfortable the whole time. Would highly recommend not only Backwater Tarpon & Snook Fishing but also to request Abi specifically. We will never forget our trip or Abi!

My son had not caught a tarpon yet so we booked a last minute trip to see if we could get it done.  During the day we hooked into 5 tarpon and with about 10 minutes left on our trip he got one to the boat.  We also landed a small barracuda as a bonus.  Thanks Alex for helping us get it done.

Capn Mateo is great with all ages (5-84) on board. Very personable. My boys loved how he taught them to land the 20-35 lb tarpons. Recommend calling direct to the business before the trip because Fishing Booker did not notify the Captain’s owner that we had booked and was confirmed.  We arrived at the correct meeting time and place but no boat for us.  Thankfully, called the business and they were prepared to bring in the additional group today for our trip.
