I spent a significant amount of time researching fishing charter captains and went with Len Slay after ready several very nice reviews.  Now it’s my turn.  My mother turned 71 this month and she’s been asking to catch a bass for years.  I surprised her with this mother/daughter fishing trip and we had an absolute blast.  Len is the nicest person you’ll ever meet and incredibly knowledgeable and down to earth.  Momma reeled in a trophy hybrid bass on the first stop and you should have seen her smile!  Len was right there to help her if she needed it, but let her bring it on in.  He took care of all the rods, positioning, and moved us from spot to spot as the fish were moving.  The scenery was just breathtaking and we brought in 4 huge fish and are, as we speak, getting ready to fry them up for dinner.  I would hands down recommend Len and will be reaching out to him again on our next trip.  You won’t be disappointed AT ALL….......just hit book! Thank you Len for the amazing memory you’ve given us.  I’ve got you saved in my phone for our next adventure (soon….very soon).

My 13 yr old and I went with Capt Len Slay and 20 minutes out the chute until 5 minutes until then end we had a blast with multiple strippers, spotted bass and even a catch fish my son just had to catch!

100% happy and will be back next year for more days! Thank you Captian!

Cpt Len put us right on the fish first thing.  Morning started out fast - it was a blast.  Slowed down a little in the middle but we ended strong with 2 more nice catches.  We easily caught over 10 fish on a 4 hour trip.  Will use again, would recommend.

Had a great time with Len! He worked hard to get us on fish. He had us out an hour and half over the drop off time and we caught 2nice stripers in that time and 4 spotted bass that were really big for spotted bass. And 2 monster hybrids at our first stop.

We had 4 in our group for this summer half day trip with a wide range of experience and he was great with every one. I knew Captain Len really wanted us to catch fish even before we started when he offered to start earlier than advertised to take better advantage of early morning bite. He was ready to go with a full live well of bait.  Doubling up on the bite a few times was pretty fun. Great trip and great memories!
