My husband and I were staying at a local resort and wanted to go fishing. Fishing booker popped up and we picked a charter based on photos and reviews and they did not disappoint. Our crew was Capt. Pepé and first mate Christian! They worked so hard for us. Also Dramamine was key- the weather was beautiful but the morning sea is CHOPPY! We both loaded up on Dramamine. Within 30 min we caught a nice sized mahi mahi tuna. Than another smaller, 2 bonito. I specifically asked for a billfish (blue/white Marlin, sailfish) and Pepé trolled and trolled all the areas. (Thankfully we picked the 8 hr full day) several hours of trolling… some fresh ceviche. Was delicious and nothing short of magical catching a fish and having it cleaned and prepared for you on the boat for a lunch snack. (Also I’m gluten free and I requested special drinks and snacks which they provided for me, thank you).
The ceviche must have been the magic because after that we caught him. Our sailfish. (Whom I named Pepé after our captain.) He didn’t fight much compared to most. And the Christian got him on the boat effortlessly. (Christian was so excited for us).

*note: to get a photo with your billfish because they are so rare you are either keep them or immediately release. So be prepared to make that quick decision.

Anyway, we will love our Pepé forever and will have a place with us to remind us of this once in a lifetime adventure.

Not an overly productive day for catching fish! We managed to land one Wahoo and had several other releases with fish on momentarily!
Crew worked hard to put us on fish and changed up rigs consistently!

Had a great time fishing on the Big Boss!
Took our employees on a full day trip and they all had the fishing experience of a lifetime. Captain Jamie and 1st Mate Alex had us on fish before we hardly left the marina. Captain Jamie definitely knows his local waters and we were treated like family the entire day. He also whipped up the best Ceviche we’ve ever tasted.

It was tough fishing today with high winds and not the best time of year.  But these guys didn’t slow down all day!  They hustled and kept switching tactics and locations until we got on fish.  We will be booking with them again and would recommend them to anyone who wants to really fish and get after it.  Bonus points - the ceviche they made from our fresh catch was incredible!  Thank you so much for a great fishing adventure!
