Myself and five friends went out for a wedding gift. We did the full day of fishing and despite the offseason were able to catch 6 large Barracuda due to the captain knowledge of the waters. The captain and crew were extremely friendly and fun to chat with, and the drinks provided and ceviche were delicious! Would definitely go out with these guys again, I cant imagine what they are like during peak season.

We had an incredible time with Jaime and Albert. They showed us that patience truly pays off and we ended up fishing 2 hours longer than we expected because we were enjoying ourselves so much. They make sure you are 100% taken care of and my family and I could not have had a better experience. I would recommend this trip to anyone and would definitely come back again!

We had everything we needed and had a blast fishing. Caught a wahoo, barracuda, and kingfish, as well as several yellowtail snapper, rockfish. Crew did an excellent job communicating and provided us with beer and water. They even turned out barracuda into the best ceviche I’ve ever had! 10/10 would recommend booking these guys. We will be back!

We had a great time fishing on El Patron with Captain Pepe, Christian & Georgie.  We did a half day charter on June 29, 2023 that started at 7:00am out of Puerto Morales.  It was my brother & I and four children ages 10 & 12.  The crew recommended that we do bottom fishing with the kids (more action).  Before we headed to the reef area for the bottom fishing, we trolled for about 30 minutes.  We ended up hooking a sailfish in that time!  After about a 30 minute fight, we had the sailfish in the boat!  The crew commented how lucky we were to hook sailfish in such a short period of time.  Afterward, we headed to a reef area where we fished off the bottom.  We primarily caught yellow tail and angel fish.  Christian & Georgie were constantly rebaiting hooks and dropping in lines.  A great time was had by all.  Also, Dramamine is highly recommended!  Thanks Pepe, Christian & Georgie for a half great day!

What a great experience we had as a family! The day started out rough because we were 30 minutes late. No matter, the captain and crew was waiting for us. We left dock and soon began trolling. We were in communication with other boats in the area and no one was catching fish. But after a couple hours of seeing flying fish and several sea turtles swimming and a little prayer things changed.  Suddenly the captain and 1st mate started yelling “fish on”! We soon learned that we hooked into something big because the line was flying off the spool for sometime. The five of us spent 40 minutes sharing the pleasure of reeling this beast in! Once to the boat Alex gaffed it and brought it aboard only to learn we hooked into a rare 40lb. King Mackerel. Captain Jaimi shared that he’d never seen a King that big before. We were all amazed at its size. What a moment.
The crew put the fish on ice and we went back to trolling. A couple hours later we hooked into a Bonito.
This crew and boat caught fish while others headed back to the dock empty.
Other comments:
The boat was well maintained and the crew was very fun and enjoyable.  Once the trip was over we went back to the dock where the crew filleted the fish for us and we took the meat to a local restaurant and they prepared a meal for us. The Bonito sashimi was fabulous!
We went with Big Boss after a terrible experience with another company, Fishing Tours La Playa. The other company canceled on us 2 days in a row with zero communication. We paid 2 days worth of transportation fees and for a family of 5 was $240.
Big Boss, on the other hand, communicated often with us several days before the trip and the day before the trip to let us know the trip was a go. Even when we had questions, concerns, or wanted to share information it made communication easy because of the Fishing Booker app!
