I have fished a lot. Caleb is a very talented fisherman. He kindly steered me to a better fishing location than I suggested, which proved to be excellent idea as we hooked salmon after salmon. More over, this was not a spot many others fished. His gear and boat are totally set up. He’s also a genuinely nice guy all around. I have already scheduled another trip. I wouldn’t think twice about recommending him to others.

You will be hard pressed to find a guide that is any more talented or more pleasant to spend the day with. When fishing bait, he basically re-baited my gear every cast. Who does that? It goes to show how closely he pays attention that you have a great experience. Quality show here and well worth with it. 👍🏼

Capt Caleb was a fantastic guide. The day started with a big salmon on in the first 10 minutes but it broke off by the boat. Things went quiet from there until the laaaaast trolling pass and literally reel-up when this big one hit my line. Capt Caleb knew the waters well, had great gear, was fun to talk with, and I’d highly recommend him to others!

Had heard that the Columbia river was the place to go to hook sturgeon.  Ended up fishing a tributary, the Willamette, in an industrial section of Portland.  Literally lost count of the fish hooked.  Area closed to retention, but hooking and fighting these beasts was the point of my trip anyway.  Caleb knew where and how to fish.  Would definitely recommend him to anyone interested in hooking a big diamond-side!

Caleb was an awesome guide! And we caught a great steelhead! Totally would go again, an had such a fun time!

When sickness put our scheduled skipper out of commission at the last minute, Zach Shirly pulled together a last minute perfect charter. He is very personable and fishing wise. The three of us were limited out after three hours out. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone!
