Had a great time!  Captain Art was knowledgeable, helpful and hardworking … he made sure we had a good experience despite fairly busy waters and some downtime on the fish biting.  But patience prevailed and we landed 4 salmon!  All arrangements were according to plan so the trip was very carefree.  Thanks to Captain Art and Whitecap Charters for a fun outing!

Had an amazing time! Captain was friendly, very intuitive and helpful. He trolled three different styles to maximize our chance in catching fish and it payed off as we caught plenty! Boat was comfortable and meeting to go out was very easy. Pretty much everything you would want in a charter plus they clean your catch after and have a nice spot to take pictures of your catch. Will definitely be going out on Whitecap charter again in the future!

This was the best day! I cannot say enough positive things about the experience. If you’re wondering if this is a professional, we’ll-equipped, we’ll-experienced operation, there is no need to wonder. It is. You just never know and that is always my concern, but this company is professional and experienced.

On top of that, the captains are kind, fun and great people. Captain Adam rocked!  He knows his stuff, and is incredibly personable. So great with the kids too. We had a blast! He knows his lakes, that’s for sure. We caught so many HUGE trout. They provide photo opps on the boat and on shore for all of your catches. Then they clean and fillet them for you, sending you on your way with wrapped bags of your catches ready to cook. It was really nice. Thank you Captain Josh.

Driving through Michigan on our cross country road trip, I wasn’t about to pass up going on a fishing trip on one of the Great Lakes! I booked Whitecap Charters online, it was an easy process. Captain Kent contacted me a few days before my trip and then again the day before. The pick up location was easy to find. Captain Adam and Captain Josh were our guides for the charter. They were on time, good attitude, happy fun guys, the boat was ready to go when we got to it and they supplied all that was needed for a fun day. As someone who goes fishing frequently I truly love the full experience, catching fish is a bonus ;) I suppose I showed up with low expectations knowing that the setup can be great but if the fish aren’t hungry no one can control that. Both Captains seemed more confident than I, and man did they know their stuff! My dad and I had so much fun catching bigger fish than we ever have before! Captain Adam and Josh are pros. They did all the poll setups, they kept the boat clean, they taught us about the boat and the different poll set ups, fun to chat with, and they even cleaned and fillet the fish we caught. Wonderful experience 10 out of 10. We look forward to chartering with them again in the future!
