Because of this, he developed a taste for the sea at a very young age. His father taught him the rules of traditional Mauritian fishing, and he loves passing this information on to his guests. Get ready to experience a true island-style angling adventure! Capt. Avi worked as a fisherman on fishing boats, as well as a skipper on a catamaran, a water ski instructor, and a diving instructor. He moved to Switzerland in 2005 for 10 years, and only had one dream: to return to Mauritius to start his big game fishing and tourist services! He can't wait to share the love he has for fishing and his island. He likes to say that his wife Valérie was "gradually convinced by the project's madness", and this is how Horizon Maurice was born in 2018!
