Alfonso was great! He has decades of experience and is a true local fisherman. We took home plenty of fish to cook at home and even turned around a few times when we were already on our way back to the dock because we had hooked a few and he genuinely wanted us to catch more. The first mate was very good and attentive to the sea the entire time while we were fishing, both him and the captain were very professional and had good energy, highly recommend!

We had a great time on the boat with Alfonso and Jesus!  We caught grouper, amber jacks and bonitas - all good size!  They provided a cooler of water, pop and beer which was much appreciated.  We started out trolling, then jigging, which was a new experience for my husband.  Alfonso and Jesus worked hard to try different methods to get the best chances to catch fish.

A few things to note: 
Wear water shoes! You will enter the boat by entering the water.  It’s very rocky so you will need to have good shoes to walk.  (Water thigh deep).

There is a restaurant right there that can cook your catch!

Alfonso and Pancho were absolutely fantastic. I took my girlfriend fishing for the first time, for her birthday. The fellas were able to find her some HUGE wahoo fish.

We did a day trip. The boat was clean, the gear was immaculate and the fish were beyond impressive. Captain Alfonso and Pancho do their absolute best to get you a fish and it shows.

A great bonus, is that the beach side restaurant will cook your catch for you. This service is incredible. The fish tacos are to die for. Highly recommend, for an authentic Mexican experience.

So when I first started doing research on who I wanted to use for deep sea fishing, Alfonso had a lot of good reviews. Since I’ve never done it but have always wanted to.. I messaged Alfonso to see about the process. He asked me what I want to fish for. Naturally I want the big marlin - but he said season is over. We decided to go for barracuda!

We were trolling for about an hour or so when a huge mahi mahi was hooked. As he got into the boat, the marlin was hooked! Yeah!!  I got 5 fish total and it was awesome!

I can say that everyone aboard made the experience very memorable and amazing. Before we even took off I got to eat some samples of the daily catch and it was just a very well rounded experience. Even by myself!

Alfonso and his crew were extremely professional and prepared. Prior to the trip, he reached out and answered a few questions including explaining exactly where to meet. The morning started a little slow, but we got into barracuda after a while. Everyone was able to catch at least one, and some of our group of three caught multiple barracuda. Per a request from our group, Alfonso took us to a really nice snorkel spot and made a small but tasty lunch for everyone. The weather took a small turn for the worse that afternoon, but we were still able to catch a nice mahi mahi before the end of the trip. Overall, everyone in our group had a great time, and we would highly recommend Alfonso.
