Alfonso and his crew were extremely professional and prepared. Prior to the trip, he reached out and answered a few questions including explaining exactly where to meet. The morning started a little slow, but we got into barracuda after a while. Everyone was able to catch at least one, and some of our group of three caught multiple barracuda. Per a request from our group, Alfonso took us to a really nice snorkel spot and made a small but tasty lunch for everyone. The weather took a small turn for the worse that afternoon, but we were still able to catch a nice mahi mahi before the end of the trip. Overall, everyone in our group had a great time, and we would highly recommend Alfonso.

I had a great trip with Alfonso. He is a true gentleman and knows the waters like the back of his hand. It was a bit tricky getting a parking spot sorted out so we were 30 mins late, but he was super understanding (I recommend you use the multi-storey car park nearby - street parking is tricky if you don’t have the exact change). As to the fishing, the boat is well-equipped - we were trolling 5 lines. True to Alfonso’s word, landed a mahi-mahi and a barracuda. Both were released (unfortunately, the mahi mahi was too small to keep, but that’s fishing…). Tried a bit of bottom fishing too, but the currents were too strong. Overall, I highly recommend Alfonso.

It was a family trip w/ the first time for daughters, one which is eleven. Seas were abnormally rough, but once settled in all got into a grove. Alfonso is a solid and seasoned captain who fishes about 300+/- days a year. He knows the area well and most importantly differential aquatic terrain, features, and sections for the various species an placement. He has a 2nd named Pancho who works hard and has a sense of humor to boot. Both speak English well, but not primary. The boat is traditional for the region and and well maintained and clean. All caught fish and Alfonso targeted/placed us on different species throughout the day. Beside beverages, they provided fresh fruit which was a pleasant treat. A good overall experience and would go again when visiting.

I had taken my two young boys and father-in-law out for a 6 hour trip.  Captain Alfonso and his first mate were absolutely top notch. They were friendly and engaged with my boys the whole trip.  We decided to only do trolling, although Captain Alfonso did ask if we wanted to bottom cast as well.  We all had some luck on the trip with the boys each catching a Bonitos and myself and father-in-law each bagging a barracuda.  We were able to bring the barracuda back to the restaurant where the boat was docked and they cleaned and prepared it for us right there.  Captain Alfonso and his first mate even joined us for lunch. 
The experience overall was fantastic.  I couldn’t have asked for a better time with my family and the crew.  The meal was also the best I’ve had on the trip so far.  I can’t wait to come back and head out with Captain Alfonso again!
