It was a pretty calm day on the sea but the captain with his knowledge gave us the chance to tale 16 beautiful fish ! We even could eat our catches at the restaurant near the beach it was awesome.I recommend it to everyone who wants a great experience of fishing in playa del carmen !

We did a half day in the morning and caught 2 amber jacks, 2 red snappers, and 1 barracuda. It was an amazing morning. Alfonso also connected us with a local restaurant that cooked it for us for lunch. It was delicious. If you get sea sick, take some medicine before.

Captain and first mate were bother very friendly. Everything was a great working order. Communication was clear and on time. Also, WE SLAYED. 15 Mahi Mahi. Three went back in the water. The 12 that went in the box were good sized 10-14lbs with one whopper pushing 20. The restaurant where we launched cooked up a killer meal sashimi,  calamari, roasted and fried. The every bite was great. The sashimi was extra special.

Captain Alfonso and mate Mariano gave my family one of the best fishing days of our lives. We live in Florida and have been fishing for many years but when we started catching mahi mahi 30 minutes after leaving the beach I knew we were in for a special day. I think we caught 14 fish including a 54 inch Mahi. The captain and mate were knowledgeable, helpful and just plain fun. I will fish with them anytime I return to the area.

Awesome day out fishing with Alfonso and his crew who made sure we had a brilliant day. Alfonso is one of the most (if not THE most) experienced angler in the area and pulled out all the stops to ensure we caught a great couple of fish! Cannot recommend highly enough! He was kind enough to fillet our catch at the end of our too which provided for a tasty and hard-won meal at day’s end! Thanks once again Alfonso!
