I booked my trip weeks ahead of my travel to Panama, where I spent seven days fishing in different areas. My trip with Blue Lobster was a poor weather day, but Captain Melvin was able to navigate the waters expertly, putting me on my biggest fish of the trip, a ~90lb sailfish that was safely released. Also caught four other species, including several large Siera Mackel. Melvin speaks good english and is fun to hang out with!

The captain was able to quickly find the Spanish mackerel.

The captain took us straight into action for some Spanish Mackerel. At 11 a.m. we headed off to get something to eat at the grill on Taboga Island.

We had blast and catched a lot of fish. The crew were really nice and skilled anchlors. They helped us catch mahi’s, which was our prized fish. All in all, the expirience was amazing. Could not be any better 10 ot of 10! Big thank you to Melvin and Marco!

Booking a fishing trip online can be stressful experience - safe parking, safe boat and an honest captain are important.  The Blue Lobster meets all 3 - the parking is on the parking lot for the Panama State Police, Captain Gustavo is kind, honest and very responsive - and his boat is fantastic for fishing (I own a couple of boats back in NY as well).  The bite was slow (as it is after all fishing not catching lol) but Gustavo tried hard to get us on the bite.  Unfortunately even with live...
