Captain Ron is a very pleasant guy who really knows the local waters.  He was as natural with an 11 year old boy as he was with the men.  And on a windy day, we caught more bluefish and porgies than we kept.  We would have included a photo of the fried up porgies, but the fish disappeared too fast. Not a small matter, he’s an excellent butcher, equally deft with the bluefish as the porgies.

It was a great trip. It was very choppy that day but Captain Ron did a great a job making sure my son was comfortable the whole time while fishing. Couldn’t have asked for more. Definitely will use captain Ron again.

Recommended. Will do this again. First time on a fishing trip with my parents from China and it had been my dad’s dream to fish on a boat. Capt. Ron was experienced, helpful and easy to talk to. He tried hard to prepare the tackles and get us hooked. His boat was equipped with advanced sonar that made the searching much easier. We got some beautiful black fish and had them cooked in a restaurant right after the trip, most delicious fish i’ve ever had in my life.
