My two sons and I took a 5 hour trip today with Steve and Noah. We had an absolute blast and caught tons of fish. We spent the first half of the trip catching calico bass, sand bass, barracuda, and mackerel. We went a little further out for the 2nd half of the trip and gave our best shot at hooking up with some shark. Just wasn’t our day for shark (such is fishing) but we had a great time on the ocean. Couldn’t have asked for a better fishing trip out on the ocean. Captain Steve was awesome with my 2 kids, especially being it was their first trip out into the ocean fishing. Came across a giant school of Dolphin and drove the boat through them while the chased our boat and swam right up to our feet dangling off the boat. The boat was beautiful with all the amenities you could want and both Steve & Thor were great with the kids and had lots of great stories to tell them and they know the area... More

Steve took my two boys (12 and 10) out on his larger boat, and it was so much fun. Steve knows all the spots to hit certain fish, and is just so knowledgeable. We caught barracuda, calico bass, mackerel and a Bonita. We just showed up and Steve took care of the rest. He’s also genuinely nice and funny, can’t recommend his enough. If you want to fish out of Dana Point, you shouldn’t look anywhere else.

We went out on the Rockenreel for a quick fishing trip. The purpose was a family outing so my son could catch his first fish. Captain Steve and Thor made sure my son caught that fish and then some. The boat was fun to be on it was fast!  We had a fun time getting to know the crew and their back stories and just having a day out on the ocean.
