Bass and Barracuda bite - back on again. First cast today landed a 22 inch White Sea Bass and steady Calico Bass bite. Whale watching cattle boat spotted a big Mako yesterday. We were not targeting Mako- was scouting for the Tuna that started squirting into our battlegrounds out front at the 267 bank. Fish on! Dorado have not showed in numbers. Yellowtail-"Amberjack" are also out there if you can find the right kelp patti holding fish.

The Mako Sharks are here with warm blue clean water and we are averaging a few Mako Sharks every day fir the past 5 days. Bass and Barracuda are wide-open several hours if every day. It's still fishing so sometimes you don't get the fish or sharks but this time of year - summer and early fall- you have a great chance.
