Very knowledgeable about the types of salmon & their behavior, places to find them and what/when they eat, how to hook and reel in and bring to net. Excellent directions and assistance as needed for dads/uncles aged 46-77, And daughters/nieces, ages 12-38 experience zero to ~10 charter trips. Captain Cary was pleasant, explained and instructed at the right level for each and without any condescension to the youngest or oldest.

Oh , yes we did catch fish. I think 4 cohos and 2 legal kings were kept.
Three wild kings, 3 dogfish and one little flounder were released. 
Excellent service, plenty of action, well cut filets to bring home. Everybody enjoyed the trip. Thank you Captain Cary!

My wife and I and our 12 year old daughter went out with Captain Mike yesterday. It was a windy day and he req he’s out in advance to warn us that it would be choppy and offer a reschedule. We didn’t have another day that would work, but very much appreciated the offer. We braved it out and it was worth it! Captain Mike is a confident (without any arrogance) captain. He’s friendly and knowledgeable, amazingly patient, skilled, and pleasant. We caught a ton of fish and had one of the best family days ever! The boat was clean, bathroom was clean, everything was comfortable. I can’t recommend Captain Mike and Best Seattle enough.
