Captain Bryan took my 11year old son and myself on the 3 hour charter. Although Mother Nature didn’t cooperate fully…At no fault of the captain, We did catch yellow tail snapper, grouper and pin fish. Captain Bryan did everything he could to make sure it was a fun and successful charter. We did see a manatee, a few nurse sharks and a big tiger shark, which was very cool! Captain Bryan is very knowledgeable, personable and a great fisherman/captain. Overall it was an awesome experience. I would absolutely book with Captain Jay Charters again if the opportunity presents itself, and highly recommend it!

The day started out very windy.  We got a text from the captain saying we’d delay the trip by an hour which proved to be a good decision.  Capt. Randy gave a safety briefing and we were off.  After about a 30 minute ride we hit our first spot with only 1 legal mangrove snapper and so we picked up and headed to another spot.  The second spot was a little better.  Capt. Randy put us on snappers and a few sharks.  The third spot proved to be the charm.  We caught grouper, out of season but a good fight.  More Lane and Mangroves snappers.  We even caught a few short yellow tails and short mutton’s.  We had our grand daughter with us and he catered to her every need including answering a few hundred questions.  By the end of the trip Randy even had her touching the fish including the sharks!  If you have little kids on your trip and want to get them out fishing Captain Randy is your guy!

My wife booked this surprise for my half century birthday. So it wasn’t the best day for fishing as you know mother nature still has some surprises for us. We met Dev our captain he explained everything and he offered even to rebook this fishing surprise for a couple days later but we already have everything set for our 4 days honeymoon anniversary .
The sea was bumpy a little bit but finally we were able to find the right spot. That’s what happened when you got the right captain guy . A few hours fishing with a lot of fun . Dev has a lot of interesting stories. He is a very interesting guy . If you’re reading this review Dev . You’re the best bro. We highly recommend you for our friends.

My son and I had truly the best experience with this fishing charter lead by Captain Bryce! We caught many fish and learned a ton about the Gulf and fishing technique and about different species. The boat ride to our destination was smooth, peaceful and gorgeous. I felt safe and cared for on this well equipped boat. Captain Bryce is so knowledgeable, enthusiastic, friendly. A true professional who obviously loves his job. We didn’t want the trip to end although we were exhausted from all the fishing action. We had our catch for dinner in a local restaurant. Can’t wait to go back!

Our family had an amazing time on the 3-hour kid-friendly charter with Captain Jay Charters and Captain Dez! With little fishing experience, we appreciated Dez’s patience and expert guidance. He was determined to get us on the fish, and after little action at the first two spots, he found the perfect location and we could barely keep up with all the action.  We ended up with plenty to take to the catch and cook restaurant that night. Dez made the trip fun, exciting, and memorable for all of us. Highly recommend Captain Jay Charters!
