There were 5 of us fishing for the day. The time to meet with Steve was 6:15 am, we were there at 6 and I think it upset him a little because he told us he still had work to get prepared. We told him we weren’t there to get on early but that we are early where ever we go. Introductions and rules were explained.  We girls were pleased to hear that there were facilities for us.
We ask to try for salmon and we had already heard that they were far and few between but Steve trolled for a couple of hours with one hit but we didn’t get him in. I think Steve saw that we get bored so we headed out for the rock cod and boy did we catch them! We had our limit in a short time. So we headed back to troll for salmon again but the water was very rough and it was overcast. We docked and headed up to the cleaning station. That went very well because one in our group actually works in the meat department of Whole foods and did the finishing touch after filleting.
All in all it was a great trip but Steve can be grumpy at times,he needs to work on that a bit.

Our family had so much fun and caught so many fish! Steve was so helpful and friendly. Definitely will be back!!

Captain and crew kept us well supplied with lines wet and fish on. We filled the wheelbarrow with Rock fish!

We had an amazing morning with Captain Steve….and we caught our max quota of fish in just a few hours! (He knows where all the fishies are) We caught several species of fish including a China Rock Fish and a Canary Rock Fish and Lingcod. We will definitely be back for another fishing trip with Captain Steve in November! Oh and my hubby loves Captain Steve’s boat to boot! See ya again in November Captain Steve!

Great trip with 3 generations of family. For his birthday, 10 y/o son wanted to catch fish in the ocean and keep them. Well, he did that by catching his limit of rock fish with a ling cod to boot! Captain Steve offered outstanding service and knew where to find the fish. 6 hour trip flew by, because we were busy hooking into fish or getting to the hotspots where they were at. Great fun, memories made, well worth it.
